From No Plot?No Problem
"A rough draft is best written in the steam-cooker of an already busy life. If you have a million things to do, adding item number 1,000,001 is not such a big deal. When, on the other hand, you have nothing to do, getting out of bed and washing yourself before 2.00pm feels like too much work to even contemplate."

This is so true! When I have too much time on my hands, I can't get out of my own way. Mind you, being too extended doesn't always work for me either. But definitely, I'm more productive when I'm busy than when I'm not.
ROFL!! I can so relate to this. People always ask me how I get so much done when I'm so busy. I think it's fore the very reason Chris posted here.
The man is smart. :)
When I read it, I nodded my head. It seems the busiest people can accomplish the most. I think it's something about forward motion.
How true is that?? The more you have to do, the more you budget your time appropriately.
