Day 8 - The Beginning of Week 2

From No Plot? No Problem

"As you write your way through the next seven days, know that Week Two hurts so bad because you're making huge strides in your book, solving a year's worth of plot and character problems in one over caffeinated week."

I'm all for being over-caffinated. BAH-ring it!

Working on my historical today. This is the very first story I ever started and the reason I joined RWA in the first place.

However, after getting bogged down in research, I ended up abandoning it after only writing a few pages, tucking it away while I worked on my contemporary story.

But now it's back and I'm loving it as much as I did the first time around. Swinging between the two genres is working well for me, so I'm going into Week Two feeling just as jazzed as I did on Week One.

LOL!! There's nothing wrong with being over-caffinated. I find it's hardly having an impact on me at all.

*twitch*

I always find week two harder. I'm into the swing of things with my story, but I'm also approaching the middle. Which means I'm due to kill someone or blow them up...
